There's no way to transfer a save file from a playstation to a computer and have it work. You can copy your save file there to keep it as a backup to transfer back as needed but otherwise.. I have ps5 and my buddy has ps4. Only way we can play is if he starts a single player game and then invites me. Your friend would have to be the one to invite but must start in single player.
