Hold Command+R while your Mac powers on to boot into Recovery Mode. From the macOS Utilities window, open Disk Utility. Select your Macintosh HD from the sidebar and click Erase. Fill in a new name for your drive and confirm you want to Erase it. Quit Disk Utility and click Reinstall macOS from the Utilities window. On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Settings, click General in the sidebar, then click Login Items on the right. (You may need to scroll down.) Open Login Items settings for me. Do any of the following: Add a login item: Click the Add button below the list of items, select a document, folder, app, server, or other item, then click Add.
Restart your Mac in safe mode. If your Mac successfully starts up in safe mode, choose Apple menu > Restart to restart your Mac normally. Check your login items to learn if any of them are incompatible. Use the Disk Utility app on your Mac to repair your startup disk. Open Disk Utility for me. Back up your disk, then reinstall macOS.

Press ⌘ Command + I. In the Info window, look for "file name & extension" to see the whole name. Or switch directories to the folder that contains the file. Enter ls into your Terminal command line to list all files in your directory. Or drag and drop the file into your Terminal window.
Command-click or right-click on the app icon in your Dock. Hover your mouse over Options. Select Open at Login. It’s as easy as that!
