For discussion of the Far Cry Game Series. Members Online I don't want the next Far Cry to just "try new things" or "change the formula" I want it to be a good FAR CRY game.
Originally posted by Twitch.tv/fappystorm: I tried that, but it wont actually allow me to roll back the drivers. Search google for DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller). Download and unzip it somewhere, then restart windows into Safe mode and use it to uninstall. After that, restart and install the older driver. #5.
The later Far Cry games have a lot of dependencies (Direct X, Visual C Runtimes) and a lot can go wrong during their installation, but the Installer should really take care of all that for you. Weird, sorry I can't help dude, Tomb Raider and Prey installed and run fine for me via Heroic and RAGE 2 runs great albeit only in Desktop Mode. Good luck!
For Epic Games Launcher. Navigate to your game’s library and Locate Far Cry 6. and click on the 3 dots on the bottom right to open settings, from there click on Verify. Verify File Integrity via Epic Games. Epic Games will then start verifying game files and, if needed, will download/replace missing or corrupted files.
Hey everyone, Thanks for the continued reports and discussions about running Far Cry 2 on Windows 11. Our own testing has shown that it is stable, besides some wonky audio with ambient sounds, but everybody's system is different so it is entirely possible that some combinations of Windows 11, specific systems and components, and background processes might be causing issues.
Recommended: OS: Windows 10 (64bit versions only) Processor: Intel Core i7-4790 @ 3.6 GHz or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 @ 3.2 GHz Memory: 8 GB RAM Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 (4GB) or AMD Radeon R9 290X (4GB) or better
If you dont want to restart steam, go to your processes and kill the FC5 one. #1. Chungo Beepis Apr 1, 2018 @ 3:16am. The process for FarCry5 is killed but Steam still thinks its running, so maybe an App status flag somewhere in the local cache files, meh, restarting steam works but it's annoying AF. #2.
Walk back onto the bridge and gun works fine. Walk off the bridge and the gun/mouse fails. I tried coming down the hill into town and everything was working fine until I began to get close (about in the same "level" as the bridge). Once I reached a certain point on the map the gun disappears and/or fails to aim or fire.
