Joined Oct 2007. #1. Posted February 22, 2012. Has anyone had the battery warning light and audible alarm come on when driving a Citroen C3? This has happened twice on my car now, both times whilst driving. I've had the alternator and battery tested professionally, and both are supposed to be ok according to the garage.

Hello folks I have a Citroen C3 2005 1.4HDI just short of 40k miles. I bought it about 4 months ago from a small independent dealer, car came with an external 3rd part warranty limited to £500 max per claim. Everything is pretty ok with the car apart from it has recently started popping an engine management light on when driving.

Once you start your vehicle, the warning light will briefly come on, and if the computer finds a problem, the light will stay on. If you notice the light flash immediately after starting the vehicle, then it's just your vehicle doing a self-check. If the warning light comes on while you are driving, it means the ABS is not working properly.
