For a 1.6tdi I wouldn't bother with a specialist custom map, I'd just find the nearest revo dealer or get a bluefin etc. switchable map device, plug and go. I'd only bother going to somewhere like RTech for a proper fully featured performance map on a performance engine.

I just went APR Stage 2 last weekend, and now my car cranks slower. Takes maybe an extra .5-1 seconds from a cold start and 1-1.5 seconds from a hot. I confirmed that this was a result of APR Stage 2 software by switching to the stock map and doing hot and cold starts with the car.
