Map modding, truck/trailer modding. Could also be used by SCS game development/testing. And it would make that camera, rotating around your truck, a bit more useful.

Currently you do have to shut it down manually. You can toggle the lane detection from your controller so it's not that big of a problem. Automatic lane changing is one of the next things I'm going to implement as the detection model does save the next lanes to the right and left. Derrik359. • 2 yr. ago.

Sometimes they can use autopilot, sometimes they can manually drive the truck, I think this would be a great feature, as a few simulators across the simulator world have autopilot. Autopilot would work as a Tesla Autopilot would. the Autopilot drives the truck for you and you can adjust the spacing distance and other features like the top speed
